At Lucas' 3 year check up (in April) his doctor noticed a heart murmur so she referred him to a specialist since it just all of sudden came. I would have been more worried but knowing his Daddy had one in 7th grade and he was fine I wasn't quite as worried. But to keep my mind completely at ease we made an appointment. Luckily they have an office at Aultman hospital so we didn't have to travel all the way to Akron! They did an EKG right away then the doctor came in and listened to heart for a very long time. He said it was just a normal heart murmur, on the scale of 0-6 it was a 1, very faint noise :) The vein that carries blue blood to the heart was also making a slightly different noise which is also normal and the ekg showed arrhythmic(?) but that is also normal, just breathing funny :) So huge relief for this Mama :) No restrictions or anything to worry about, thank you Jesus!!! He did so well (it was even over lunch time) so we stopped for some yummy lunch and desert at DQ :)
They had these fun beds :) The one he was on for the EKG was a school bus, I didn't get any pictures of that one. Then in our room he got a firetruck :)
Thanks to my Aunt Annette & Gram for watching the other two so I didn't have to take them along :) |
These kidders had a fun time playing with Zack and seeing the baby cows :) |
