I do read the scripture to them and they listen so close and sometimes even repeat what I say :)

Review:

Egg #2: Mary poured Perfume on Jesus' feet (perfume)
Egg #3: the Last Supper (bread)

...and yes they are in the same clothes as yesterday. We were not going anywhere and the thought of fighting them to change clothes just was not worth it ;)

Actually a lotion bottle...like I said I procrastinated and this was the closest small thing I had to resemble perfume.

I really wish Keldan could memorize the verse within the day but he just will not. Oh well maybe next year..

Easter Story: Donkey

I remember in Sunday School growing up we always did the Resurrection eggs at Easter time and knew I wanted to do it with my kids. Thought it would be an easy way to teach them Jesus' Crucifixion and Resurrection. I sort of procrastinated getting them ready so its not the most beautiful thing but it gets the job done :) So each day leading up to Easter we will review what we learned then open a new egg that helps tell the story. I will try to post everyday but no promises....things get crazy around here sometimes ;)

Day 1: a Donkey

Lunch Date

We had a lunch date with my friend Allie at Softies. We both live really close to it so we walked :) Was cute, the kids haven't seen her for awhile and I told them her name and Lucas goes "that not Allie" ;) They didn't really eat too good, just there cone and some strawberries I brought along, but they did run off a little energy.

Aunt Stacy made Mikaela the cutest hat for Christmas. I finally got around to getting some good pictures of her in it :) Will be sad when she can't wear it anymore.
