Just Us

Last week was the first week on my own with 3 kids & 2 dogs. I was very exhausted! Every day but Friday people either came down or we went somewhere for a little so that helped get me used to it a little more, but then Friday was just us. This week is going very good. Getting into a routine (best you can with a newborn). It was a big adjustment for me that Keldan no longer naps, no nap for the mama then. I sometimes will fall asleep for a few minutes til he wakes me but seems to be enough to get me through the rest of the day. Keldan & Lucas are doing wonderful with the new baby sister. They absolutely love her, they say "my baby". I make sure that I put Mikaela down when shes sleeping (maybe not every time;) ) so I can spend some time with the boys. Hoping next week things will be going very well that I can start preschool things with Keldan (I'm sure Lucas will be trying too). Mikaela is doing much better on the new formula. She doesn't get as many tummy aches and have been able to lay her down more. Shes not a big fan of tummy time, Keldan wasn't either, I think it hurts their tummy. Really hoping the formula will eventually be enough to help (don't want to put her on reflux meds) then she will enjoy it. I absolutely love being a mama of 3. They keep me hopping, but its so worth it :)

My friend got married, so Mikaela and I (boys were sleepy) went to the wedding. How cute is she in that dress :) Thanks Michelle for the dress :)
