The Big Four!

This is so hard for me to type...Keldan is 4, yes 4! This is very hard for me to believe. I can still remember bringing him home from the hospital like it was yesterday. This little hamball is such a joy! He is such a big help! The terrible 3s are beginning to leave which I am so thankful for! He still gets some bad days, but no where near as bad as they were. He listens very well for the most part and goes with the flow. Loves to help me in everything, from picking up toys, dishes, sweeping, cleaning, cooking, and even with Mikaela. I am so proud of this little boy!!

*42 inches (still in the 90 some percentile)
*41 lbs (he's lost a couple lbs too) (actually to the 75%, he's never been below 90 in his life!)
*5Ts or Medium (5/6) size clothes. He can take his clothes off. Hasn't mastered putting them on (except his pants when he goes potty) but he's been trying
*Size 10 shoes He can take his shoes off & put them on. Can't tie yet but he can do the velcro :)
*Completely potty trained. This actually was fairly easily. Right after he turned 3 we started, we went completely into it, no pull-ups just straight to the undies. He still had a few accidents for a couple months but hasn't had one since last fall :) I actually was able to even do undies at bed and he never once had an accident :) I'd say 3 is the lucky number for potty training :) He now (since end of winter) stands to pee, and goes completely on his own :) This is a huge step, he is so laid back I never thought that would happen.
*LOVES his brother & sister! They are inseparable most of the time. Even though him & his brother fight 50% of the time, I can tell already that they have each others back and they love each other! And he just cares so much for Mikaela. He is such a good big brother to both! They are so lucky!
*Going to start preschool this fall. He is very excited for this. Keeps telling me, I go myself Mama you stay home :( That will be an extremely hard day for me!
*Carries full conversations and is remembering things in the past. Loves to sing & dance! Especially to veggie tales.
*Starting to learn how to hit a ball, and to catch one.
*He is a hard one to teach things, at least on my part. I try to and he gets mad, but then in the next week we will see or hear him saying it or doing it. So it's there, but he will do it on his own time.
*He has a huge imagination! Very much in to Superheroes. Loves to wear his cape and pretend he's saving someone (usually me). Likes Peter Pan & Jake and the Neverland Pirates, he's usually Jake trying to get something back from Captain Hook. Doctor is the big thing too, he loves to give people check ups and make sure they are ok. Pretends he's a power ranger, transformer, dinosaur, oh the list could go on, he loves pretend play!
*Doesn't like us to read to him much anymore, he wants to read to us :) So cool how he can remember kind of how the story goes by the pictures, even ones we never read much.
*His prayers have become comical at bedtime! They usually last about 10 to 15 minutes.
*Loves the pool!
That's all I can think of right now, he's just growing & learning like crazy!

Happy 4 years Keldan! We love you :)
