Welcome....

Jasmine Hamsher....our new four legged addition :)

We had such a fun father's day surprising daddy with the dog he has wanted for a VERY long time.

My mom's cousin breeds german shepherds and said if she was unable to sell one of them she would let us know. She had left my mom know last week that it was looking like she would have one and thought it would be cool to give him for father's day. So just to be safe in a round about way I asked Joe if we were still interested. He kept saying oh I don't want to get my hopes up I'm sure she will sell them all and I would just kind of laugh. So the end of the week, I was pretty sure one was coming our way so I got a cage (thanks Ryan & Danielle, didn't want to buy one yet because he would know then) and hid it in the boys closet. We thought Saturday evening we would be able to get her and bring her home to surprise daddy, but it didn't work out. I found out late Saturday night that she hadn't sold any of the girls (6 of them) so we could choose. Well then I kind of wanted Joe to be able to pick. Sunday morning when I got Keldan up we were going over to say happy daddys day to him and say we are getting a puppy :) When we came down, he said happy daddys day and couldn't remember the rest so I said and what are we getting and he goes a puppy! Daddy was extremely shocked! He kept saying your joking, your not serious, oh but I was :) He couldn't believe I did all that without him knowing, I can be sneaky sometimes ;) Right away he found a spot for the cage, and him & Keldan put it together. They then had to make a trip to Walmart to get a bed, food, dishes, and her own ropes. He was acting like a kid, made me soo happy to see him that excited. That evening we made the trip to Winesburg and chose our puppy. She came to him right away and he just knew. They were all so cute, very hard to choose (at least I thought so). He came up with the name Jasmine. The boys absolutely love her! Keldan helps take care of her and sit with her, and Lucas likes to tackle & kiss her. She does so good with them, likes to tackle them too. After 2 days of being with us, she is doing very good. For the most part she lets you know if she needs something or has to go out.

Some pics from her first day with us :)

A GIRL!

So Joe & I are not very good at some surprises....baby gender to be exact. After not being able to determine it the last time, we couldn't wait til 36 weeks so the doctor ok'd another one to see if he/she would cooperate this time. So we went on Monday. At first he/she did not want to cooperate so we watched he/she move for a little, just absolutely amazing to watch that. Opening and closing the mouth and moving his/her head, which made me cry. Finally opened the legs and guess what....ITS A GIRL! Keldan did know he was having a baby sister, how awesome. So of course after the ultrasound mom & I had to go shopping :) All this time I would see newborn frilly dresses in the store & wouldn't you know it, when I finally can buy one, they are all gone. Found a couple 0-3 mths, thought with a sweater & leggings it will work in the fall, plus its more for pictures. I'm a girly girl so you can bet this little one will be wearing mainly dresses :) I also bought some headbands :)

Her face & hands

Her leg, the other one is up in the grey part (can't see it there), so there was no questioning it!

3 dresses & one of the headbands :) I know there actually not all pink, one is purple, my mom picked that one out :)

Hero Up

We celebrated Keldan's birthday on Monday with family with a Superhero Squad party. I asked him what he would like for the theme of his party and this is what he chose, his favorite character is the Hulk (I think its because he's green which is his favorite color). Joe cooked burgers out on the grill, had fruit, taco dip, chips, cupcakes, and ice cream. Turned out really nice, was a beautiful day. He loved opening his presents, even the cards! He got some clothes, play-doh/moon dough, art supplies, jump rope (after watching a mickey mouse he decided to use cords for one so we thought he needed an actual one), ball, cars, and a scooter.

Keldan's big birthday gift surprise...a power wheel truck.

Thanks everyone for the gifts & celebrating with us :) Keldan is still talking about how much fun he had at his superhero happy party.
