Things about being a Dad...

So I am a 24 year old first time dad, went into this not knowing anything about kids, but I am totally thankful that I married an amazing women! So yes I am bragging on my wife to but I am going to put somethings about being a dad that I have learned over the past four months.

1) Its crazy to know you have three people *Yes I said three! Josie is totally part of our family!* totally depending on you for support, such as money to by food, help with house work, outside work, help with Keldan. Being there for emotional support...it's crazy! That took some getting used to!

2)Adjusting to life with a kid, him crying in the middle of the night. It got pretty hard sometimes to put up with it but it's amazing how patient you get when you know they don't feel good or they are hungry...which in turn trains you for putting up with their crying fits when all they wanna do it be held of want his Binky.

3) I also learned that you have to make incredible annoying sounds sometimes to make Keldan laugh or smile at you. Also make some weird faces! But thankfully most of the time I just show him pictures of my family *and Ang's too* And he usually laughs at them...must mean you guys are funny and weird looking!

4) Love the smile he gives ya...when I come home from work...he usually smiles at me or gets all shy and sometimes even leans for me...which is a pretty neat feeling. Never thought I would be one of those types who liked that but I guess it's different when it's your own.

5) Me and Josie have gotten allot closer with K being born, most of the time she ends up with me on the foot stool or laying on me...she does sleep with me in bed. But sometimes she does cuddle up with her mom.

6) Totally couldn't be a stay at home dad! I couldn't handle it...I am totally proud of my wife for doing the things she does! And being to handle it with what seems like little or no effort!

7) It's cool to see K and Ang interact with one another...the weird faces they make at one another...or when they talk to one another...or how happy they both get when they see each other!

8) I am just posting #8 because I don't want to end on a odd number...it's just something I can not do!

This is such a post Joe! Its great to see life with a baby from your point of view. Keldan is lucky to have parents who love him as much as you and Ang do!
