Baby Turns Two

Miss Mikaela Rayne celebrated her second birthday..how is this even possible?! Summary of what she is up to for my records :)

*28lbs and 35.5 inches
*Moving into 3t clothes and size 6 shoes.
*Fairly good eater, not too picky.
*Takes an hour nap a day, goes to bed around 8:30-9 and gets up 7:45.
*Doing steps like big girl
*Drinks from a cup good.
*Loves Minnie Mouse!!
*TV shows that get her attention are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Minnie Bowtique, Krypto Superdog, Bubble Guppies. Still not much of a tv watcher, we don't watch a lot of it so that's probably why.
*Really getting into playing with babies and pretend play. She loves to feed them, change their diaper, Take them on walks in their stroller and put them down for naps in her babies pack-n-play. Loves to put things into a bag for her babies and hang it on the stroller.
*Working on dressing herself, does fairly good for only being 2.
*Still not talking a lot but in the past week or two she has begun to say more words.
*Can follow commands
*Loves to read books herself or have us read to her.
*Started doing bedtime prayer
*Loves to dance and listen to music.
*Extremely ornery and very dramatic.
*She LOVES her brothers!! Whatever they are doing she thinks she needs to do it too.
*Loves to help me in the kitchen. She will have a stepping stool at the counter, one at the sink, and one at the island so she can be wherever I am.
*Loves to swing and go down slides. Loves the water.
*Loves to pretend to take pictures of things. Will set up her own photoshoot :)
*Loves to have her toes painted. She asks me quite often to do them :)

That's about all I can think of at the moment.

A Girl and Her Minnie

Mikaela is in LOVE with Minnie!! She got her little one in the hospital when she was born and has been attached since. Decided to do a 2 year photoshoot with her Minnies, think they turned out fairly well with how anti-camera she usually is...

Minnie has shrunk and faded ;) Can't believe she was that little!!

Lucas & Preschool

Just can't believe we have two kids in school...even if it is just preschool ;) Lucas has been super excited to go to school but at first I figured he didn't realize that Keldan nor I would be there. At orientation I had planned to sneak out but he saw me so I said Mama has to go to this other room to get paper work so you get to stay here and play with your new friends, and he goes ok and back to playing he went. Totally shocked me, thought for sure he would have a hard time being with total strangers. I decided that I would take him in then for his first day (had planned to do the car line so they could peal him out ;) ). He did AMAZING!! He walked right in and we helped get him into his classroom and said goodbye and he went on :) So proud of him!!! Again another hard two hours...luckily we had to finish shopping for Mikaela's party so I was able to stay VERY busy :) When I picked him up she right away told all of us that she is just so excited that this is one amazing group so that makes me feel good that he's part of it! She said he did so good and never cried :) Yay Lucas!! We love you and are so proud of our big boy!!

They walked into the classroom like this. I wished I would've been ready with the camera but before we left Keldan gave him a hug and kiss and told him he would be ok that this was his class and it's fun and Lucas said ok and you could just see that he believed him :) LOVE the relationship these two are forming. Trust me they can have some pretty good sibling fights but at the needed times they got each other's backs <3 Makes me a proud Mama to see that!!!

The Big Man at Pre-K

Our oldest baby started pre-k this week at St. John's again. He was very hesitant about going this year (didn't put up a fight but definitely made sure we knew he wanted to stay home) but after orientation he realized Mrs. Bowsher's class is pretty fun :) Was super excited to go on his first day although I could see the nerves going crazy inside! He just went right in and sat at the steps waiting to go up to his room. Was a long and hard two hours for me (even though he went last year), I still miss him like crazy!! But seeing this different confident kid come out just on the first day I realized it's ok, he's fine :) I had to laugh because when he came out he was like strutting his stuff and telling me all about his day. In the past it was always I don't know and I would have to bribe him to get one word out, not this time!! I just pray he will keep this attitude up!! On to some pictures of our handsome dude...

Their first day wasn't the same day but it was the same week so wanted to do a picture together too :) Just melts my heart looking at them all grown up with their back packs...
