Trying to be Creative

I tried to be a little creative...they are the farthest from perfect but the kids LOVE them so it worked :) Found both of these projects off Pinterest, the links to the originals are right after the titles.

Mr and Mrs Potato Head (click here for the original):

We were in need of some new "quiet toys" while were waiting at the doctors office, restaurant, or in the car, so I made a Mr. and Mrs. Potato Heads. I found the basics off the above link and then added some more accessories that the kids would love. I have plenty more ideas in the, just need to find some more "free" time and material to finish them :) This is what I have to start...

I am always looking for new ways to talk about the real reason for Christmas, was really excited to find this felt one on pinterest. The kids love to play with things like this so it was perfect! The colors are a little different but I was only at one store and they didn't have half the colors :/ Still pretty neat and they love it!! Going to hang it up in our basement toy room so they can have fun :)

I finally got over my emotional state of getting my babies first haircut. So glad I did because I'm in love with it!! As she was cutting it I could see life coming to her hair. It was fuller and looked so much better.

Yep she sat there with that not impressed face the whole time...will take that over the crying I figured she would do :)

After...

Hard to get a good one, she's not the best at taking pictures of...but look at that cutie. Everyone in the salon kept going on and on how beautiful she is. She looks so much older now...not sure if I was ready for that :(

Fall Photoshoot 4

We don't have any trees in our yard so had to hit up the local park to take pictures of the kiddos in the leaves this year :) Sharing my more favorite ones...

Lucas was the only one that really wanted to sit in them.

Yes we had to stay after Lucas, he kept getting closer and closer, at one point his feet were at the top of the water....
