New Camera

We got Lucas a kid's camera for his birthday. It so happened when I ordered Christmas toys from Toys-r-us, if you spent so much on Fisherprice toys they sent you a kid tough camera for free. Thought this would work out perfectly for Lucas' birthday, he loves to "take" pictures with my phone or camera. He loves it!! Between him and Keldan, they took 210 pictures in the first day & half (and that's with us taking it from him awhile). Now most didn't turn out but I thought I'd share some that are half decent :) He's going to have to learn not to shake the camera while taking them ;)

Lucas (and Keldan too of course) got to enjoy a yummy doughnut in bed when they got up.

Time for some presents...

This is the new face for him, he calls it his pouting face and he loves me to take pictures of it..silly little boy!!

Lucas chose Jake and the Neverland Pirates for his party. It's a Disney show based off of Peter Pan. It's a huge hit in this house. Keldan is always Jake, Lucas is Cubby, and Mikaela is Izzy when they are pretend playing to be pirates :)

Here is Lucas' awesome cake. Daddy and Mama made it just for him and he LOVED it!!

Happy Three Years!

Lucas is THREE!! Even though I catch myself thinking he's three when he was only 2 (3 minute time-outs and 3 more bites I often tell him, then remembering he's only two ;) ), it's still hard to believe that next fall we will be sending him to the first round of preschool (for 3 yr olds). Feels like he's older than just turning 3, he is really far advanced for his age. Just a little rundown of what all he has accomplished this past year.

*34 lbs & 37 inches

*Size 3T clothes & size 7 shoe

*Beginning of summer he became totally potty trained (standing & everything)! Really helped to have a big brother that he absolutely looks up to!

*He can count to 8, learning his colors, says everything, learning letters.

*Loves to read!!

*As I said before very much so looks up to his big brother!! And LOVES his little sister!

*He is brave, ornery, go getter, and calm all mixed into one.

*Had a second surgery this fall, got his tonsils & adenoids taken out.

*Really became attached to his Pluto, Oh yes he is part of this family. He treats him like he's real, its so cute!! Just one little story of him we were leaving to go see Daddy at work and I was calling for him to come get in the car and he yells back I can't. I went to check out why he couldn't and he is standing at the door soothing Pluto because his tail got stuck in the door ;) I had to open it up to get it out. He then kisses it and hugs Pluto and tells him it's ok we got you out, your tails ok :) Such the imagination with him! There are so many stories with him but I don't want to bore you with them all :)

*Likes trains, trucks, cars, animals, super heroes, transformers, and pirates.

*Favorite movie is Cars. Favorite cartoon Mickey Mouse. Favorite book Happy Dog.
*This spring he also moved into a big boy bed. Did way better than I expected, maybe because Keldan was in there to show him how its done (Keldan will not get out of bed til I come get him ;) ).

That's all I can think of right now. I'm sure I'm forgetting things, but that's the most important stuff.
