Mary Kay Consultant

I know your thinking..well she's at it again with a job that I can continue to be a stay at home mom with (tried Avon before), I give her a month ;) At least that's what my husband is thinking :) Yes I am at it again! I am officially a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant :)

I feel Avon required a lot more of my time than what I was willing to take away from the kids. New books every 2 weeks, had to sell a large amount to make any. Mary Kay is different. Its a new book every 3 months and the amount is less and the reward is way more. I know if I want to succeed that I will have to put a little time into it, but it won't be extreme. I am so excited to get started!

Why am I choosing to try Mary Kay? I love their products. I grew up around them (my family used their products, I remember my mom having many skin care parties at our house when I was little). They are really good products and last a long time! I want to challenge myself. I will definitely have to come out of my comfort zone for this. I am shy and and definitely have become a home-body. So the thought of getting out of my house, calling people, it scares me but I am ready for a change! I need some pampering-girlie time! I could easilly be a little high maintenance if we had the money. I love to get all dressed up (I know kind of a shocker if you've seen me lately ;) ). I want to get back to caring about myself. So the thought of skincare/make up party makes me excited! I've just put myself into the "your a mom now" that I've left myself go, and it's starting to get to me. I am realizing I can be a great mom and still take a couple hours a week to myself :) And of course the extra cash won't hurt :) We are signing our oldest up for t-ball at the ymca and are looking forward to football this fall, plus he will start preschool and that's just for one so the extra cash would be nice!

The more reading that I am doing about the background of Mary Kay the more in love with it that I become. Mary Kay Ash's (founder) rule is God first, Family secondCareer third. I am so excited to be a part of a group that believes you should put God first!! I'm in the process of reading her biography, she was an amazing lady! She expresses you need to have faith and trust in God to make your business successful.

I know it will be a slow process, til I get my clientele and grow as an Independent Beauty Consultant, but I am so excited! I am excited for my girlie time, for the extra cash, and to prove to everybody (including myself) wrong, that I can do this!!

So if you would like to have a skin care party with a few friends (lasts about an hour) to get some awesome free products, or want to just look at a catalog to order, or just a quick makeover yourself, or have questions about something please let me know, my email is anghamsher@marykay.com :)

I will post the e-catalog of the Look Book so you may look at it at anytime.

Thanks!!!!!!

Nine Months!

Miss Mikaela Rayne is 9 months. She has grown so much again, starting to look a little older.

*19 lbs
*27.5 inches
*Sleeping is better than what is was, still cries off and on during night but rarely do I have to go in. Still takes 2 naps (afternoon and a quick evening).
*6-9 months & 12 month clothes now. She is a little chunky monkey :) I love to squeeze those chipmunk cheeks!
*She is doing the normal crawl now :) She follows us to different rooms or just goes on her own. Getting fairly fast at it.
*Starting to stand more on her own and occasionally when she begins to topple over catches herself (without holding on) and back up. Can sit down from standing all on her own.
*She loves to climb! Climbs the steps and in/out of her pool. She likes to try to climb up on buckets and whatever is at her level.
*Clapping like crazy, beginning to wave bye-bye (she doesn't do it consistent yet but we catch her occasionally doing it), says dada (when shes happy) and mama (when she's unhappy). She will babble and it almost sounds like she's saying brotha :)
*Very much drama, learning the word no and does not care for it ;) Has already begun if she doesn't get her way she screams.
*Absolutely positively ornery! I thought Lucas was silly bad, but I'm beginning to feel he's not with her around! I would much rather be chasing her around saying no no no instead of being where we were a few months ago! That was mentally exhausting.
*Tummy aches have subsided, more and more of solid food she eats the better she gets.
*Loves the pool! She will sit in hers the entire time the boys are in there's just splashing away. The thought has crossed my mind when she gets crabby to bring the pool in ;)
*She has been fussy (diff type than before) off and on...I think those teeth are moving and she is not liking it. They get bumpy but I have yet to notice them being white or anything. Hopefully soon!
*Loves to dance and listen to music :)
All I can think of right now..on to some pictures :)
