Happy 8 Mths

So my baby Lucas turned 8 months Sunday. He is just growing way too fast, beginning to be more like a little boy and less like a baby.

*28 1/4" long and 20 lbs
*12 month clothes/size 3 diapers
*Babbles dada/mama/baba
*Standing up
*Loves to dance
*Waving bye bye
*does the rolling for patty cake
*Knows how to play with cars on a track
* Imitates us
*Loves to climb over things, especially daddy & big bro
*Sucks his thumb.
*Drinking from a sippy cup very well.
*backward and forwards in walker
*Loves to swing.
*Food is his favorite thing. If we would let him he would eat the whole container of puffs (baby cereal).
*Busy busy boy! Much different from his big bro who was so laid back.

He was just to the dr for his 6 mth check up and she said he is doing good. Motor skills are definitely above where most kids are at that age. He just wants to be like his big brother, who he absolutely loves.

Quack Quacks

Several weeks ago we had lunch at the park with mamaw. Keldan loved feeding the quack quacks and running around the playground.

Mama Duck & her babies

Such a boy! He would rather play with the wood chips than the swings & slides.

Best we could get!

Too much work laying in a stroller, needed a nap.

Over the Hills & Through the Woods to a Major Wedding We Go

This past Saturday the little ones stayed with Gramps & Grammie while we went to a wedding in Peninsula, OH. Our very good friend Thomas got married. It was a wonderful wedding at Horseshoe Pond. The reception was held at Heritage Barn in Stow. Sarah looked so beautiful. Took some pictures, reception ones did not turn out very good. Just a great time hanging out with some friends we haven't seen in awhile!

Instead of doing a unity candle, they had a unity tree. She even had gloves (they were Pittsburgh Steelers). They planted the tree into a pot together. They can take the tree wherever they go. Such a great keepsake!

Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Major :)

Walkway back to where they were married

They got married on Major Rd. (Road was named after Thomas great-grandpa)

Very simple but beautiful!

This is how we knew what table we were seated at. They had these hanging on a tree when you entered the reception area. Saved confusion!
